Since prototype-1.5.0, I've made various improvements. To the graphics, and added a few useful debug tools.

Added:
  • "Rain": Not yet implemented into a weather system, but a rain shader has been added.
  • Camper Info Box: Debug screen that shows when you press F4. Contains the full name, race, sex, and color preferences of each NPC above their heads.
  • Camper Color Preferences: Campers now have favorite colors, and least favorite colors.
  • New Camper Testing: I've put a test Camper body that does a simple arm bend animation next to the spawn area. If all goes well, NPCs will be able to do more complex animations by bending their arms realistically.
  • Labels for Buildings: Another debug thing. Buildings now have a big text label that says what they're planned to be. Like "Medical", "Cafeteria", etc.

Changed:

  • "Better Water": Water is now translucent and uses a shader (meaning you can see it moving, you can see things underneath, and it just looks better).
  • "Better Foliage": The wind sway effect on plants (currently just bushes) has been improved. It now stays still at the bottom, but sways at the top. Previously it swayed all the way.
  • "Table": Texture now has a shadow and shadowing / detailing.
  • Item Context Menu: Now only shows the options needed for the specific item. Right clicking on clothing shows "Wear". Right clicking on food shows "Consume".

Fixed:

  • Soundscape (forest-y area on Campground map) no longer has a big blue tint.
